Full payment within 30 days of the course start date.
Bookings may be made by e-mail, or telephone.
Cancellations with over 30 days notice no charge. Notice between 2 – 4 weeks 25% charge, Notice less than two weeks 50% of course fee.
The Health & Safety Executive (HSE) are the regulatory body for First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid, and they specify full attendance for statutory courses. Training staff reserve the right to refuse attendance to late comers. If candidates are absent from a session or part of a session, they may not be certificated if they have not demonstrated sufficient skill or knowledge within a particular area.
5. Requalification courses
The HSE state that to be eligible for the two day requalification in First Aid at Work, a candidate must have a valid certificate in date (on assessment day) and issued by an HSE approved provider.
The HSE does now allow a maximum of 28 days from the expiry date of the certificate to complete requalification training and assessment.
It is an employer’s responsibility to ensure that candidates selected for training are suitable and free from any condition that may affect their ability to perform a particular role. Candidates with disabilities are welcome; employers should ensure they are appropriately supported within the work place environment.
